Yesterday, I went to meet up with my mentor in Kaiser. Our session was around 3-5 at the optometry office in Kaiser. In the beginning of the session she introduced me around the different rooms where patients are held during checkups for the eye. Each room had their own little eye chart at which are one of the first tests patients must go through to see how well their vision is. At first I thought it was pretty easy because I thought you just had to write down how far they cannot see. However, there are a lot of information you must have to write down when testing a patients eye sight. In the office there were alot of the high chairs and some sort of eye machine that also checks your eyesight and also checks if you have eye diseases such as cataracts.
